We are releasing the grievance database to our membership for use in researching past grievances. There is an instructional video you can watch here :
To get to the grievance database go to the Members Only page and then click the Grievance DB link on the left side navigation bar or go directly there by entering this address- www.cdffirefighters.org/members-only/grievanceDB
You must have a member logon to use the database. The database is searchable and once a grievance is selected the PDF for the original paper grievance can be downloaded at the click of a button.
We had hoped to get this out much earlier but workload did not allow us to get as many grievances in as we would have liked. Grievances that are numbered in red letters in the grid at the page bottom do not yet have PDFs available for download. Grievances more recent that 2006 have not been entered into the database yet.
If you are interested in coming to Sacramento HQ to help scan and enter grievances into the database please email me at webmaster@cdffirefighters.org. We will pay travel and per diem expenses.
The link for the instructional video is also on the grievance database page just above the bottom grid, about mid page if you need to refer to it while using the database.
